NEW PISTOL MATCH REQUIREMENTS for FPOA pistol matches, when held on Dept. of Corrections ranges, are as follows: 1] Verified as current member of FPOA. Host District Director is furnished a list prior to match. If an individual is not listed and cannot prove current valid membership, the individual must not be allowed to shoot. 2] NCIC background check for all shooters who are not law enforcement officers (who already have NCIC clearance, as a job requirement.) Click on NCIC Form for printable form. NCIC form must be submitted to FPOA Headquarters two weeks prior to the pistol match for which needed. 3] Notarized signed Release Form. Click on Release Form for printable form. If possible, sign Release Form and have notarized prior to the match to speed up registration.
